Oh bleep, how can I describe how AHHHH-MAZING Paranormalcy is? I couldn't put this book down for the life of me; it's addicting. For starters, all the supernaturals are very different and have very strong personalities. Evie has a witty way that pulls you in from start to finish. Each page will leave you wanting more. So in 5...4...3...2...1 go grab a copy of Paranormalcy and READ IT!

What can I say about Unearthly? It's one of those books that captivated me and left me hanging at the end. Cliffhangers -__- And even though it's an angel book, it really doesn't feel like it. You'll see what I mean once you start reading it and I do expect you to read it so chop chop. Overall the story was written PERFECT! Cynthia describes everything in a way that makes you feel like it's happening to you (cool right.) Any who, I'm definitely adding Tucker Avery to my fictional crush list. I've never been into cowboys much but damn Tuck makes the only exception.

Okay, you know how when we were younger we, girls, would analyze every single detail involving what boys said or didn't say to us? (Don't shake your head ladies you know it's true.) Well this is exactly what happens in If We Kiss. This was a cute story but I think it would be more appealing to girls around the age group of 12-15.

I should have read this book in the 9th grade; it would have saved me all that drama.

Oh my Peeta. Why, oh why did it take me so long to find you. I...Let me stop myself before this review turns into my crushing on Peeta Mellark and how he's so wonderful *le sigh* and yada, yada, yada. Back to business. The Hunger Games is so different from what I'm use to reading! For starters, it deals in the future an there is like NO United States (freaky but in a good way.) HG has tons of action, suspense and a brave protagonist, Katniss; who is fierce yet sweet with her sister and Rue. Well I have to admit that I cried a couple of times. There were some scenes that are emotional.

I have to thank @VampireLove10 for being a book bully and pushing me to read The Hunger Games. Without her I would have never read this incredible book and known about Peeta.
Now it's my turn to be a book bully: If you haven't read HG then I suggest you do ASAP! You'll fall in love with this book and once you do, you'll be begging for more!

First book I read for the new year, 2011, and I really liked it. It was a fast paced read that had me laughing at the sarcastic Sophia Mercer; she's quite a unique protagonist. Hex Hall deals with witches, faeries, shape shifters and vampires all in ONE school. Can you say DRAMA? And if that's not enough, try figuring out who the "bad guy" is. Yeah, it's a mystery you should solve like, right now. So go read it!

THAT caught my attention! I was like "sarcasm? I'm in!" Boy am I glad I picked up this great read! The story line might have a familiar feel to it, because the whole two different worlds between a gangster and popular rich kid falling in love has been done before. Don't let that discourage you though, because even if it has a similar ring to it, it's different on it's own. There's so much I loved about the book that I want to point out! I love how it's written with both Brittany and Alex's point of view. I love how there's Spanish in this book (even though the language might be a bit too mature.) I love the HOT chemistry between Alex and Brit. By the way, I caught on to why the book was titles Perfect Chemistry halfway into the book. I know, FAIL! LOL. Any who, I can go on and on. But I'll let you resume your busy life schedules. I do however want to recommend that you pick up this book when you're in the mood for a good love story(:

Trickser's Girl seemed more alluring to me at the time I read the synopsis and requested it. Maybe it was the title, maybe it was the cover. Yes, I tend to often judge books by titles, and covers. Usually I dislike reading books set in the future. They seem too unreal, or too, I don't know, weird? Like this book, it was just weird to me. The writing was good, but I wasn't a big fan of the story line. It seemed too bipolar, mixing the future with magic and cancer cures and nature. Am I making sense? This is probably the hardest time I've had writing a review. I guess you'll have to read the book for yourself to understand where I'm coming from(:

I don't know exactly where to begin, there's so much I want to say about this read. It was a great, great book. It felt so real, I could put myself in so easily because scenarios like these happen on an every day basis in high schools across the country. There's always bullying and sometimes you feel so bad but hold back and do nothing about it. I think everyone can relate to this book whether you're the bully, the bullied or the hero. I also loved the fact that in a sense this book was masculine. The main character, Adonis, wasn't anywhere near perfect like you read in most books these days. I think that's a part of why it felt so real. He wasn't dreamy, he was a normal high school teen. The only complaint I had was that I'd have to re-read some of the parts dealing with Adonis and his father conversating. I wouldn't catch on quick to the comments lol. Guy talk!

I reccommend everyone to read this book. It makes you want to take a stand and be a hero!

I didn't hear about this book and I certainly wouldn't have picked it up to read it but a big thanks to Val over at Truth Be Told who pushed me into reading it because it was so, so good. I couldn't agree more. The read was something new. Draki, descendants from dragons. I'd never read a dragon book before and to be honest I was kind of iffy about it. I thought it would be weird but it soooo wasn't. A forbidden love? The phrase itself makes me hold my breath a bit. I'm a sucker for romance. A hopeless romantic, you could say. "A hunter in love with it's prey." It was such a good story. It wasn't the least bit complicated to catch up with draki and their culture. Which is a plus! The ending is killing me though! I don't know how I'm going to survive waiting to see what will happen next! So all in all I would definitely recommend you to go and read Firelight. It's a beautiful story. You'll love it!

Beautiful Creatures is such an AMAZING read! I have never read a book about witches..I mean Casters (C.A.S.T.E.R.S. such a cool name right?). Kami and Margaret did a fantastic job with this story *cue the applause.* And letting Ethan be the main character was just plain genius! We get to read how Ethan would react under certain situations and it's not everyday us girls see what's really going on in a guys head and what he's feeling. Anyway, to be honest, I didn't even know if I wanted to buy this book. It was thick. It had over 400 pages. So I was surprised when I started reading and I couldn't put the book down. (BTW I finished it in 1.5 days!) Thanks to Beautiful Creatures I LOVE FAT BOOKS NOW! :)

P.S. Don't judge a book by how many pages it has because you might be missing out on a great read!

Gosh, I missed the gang (Shane, Eve, Claire, Michael). Shh! Don't tell Shane but I'm liking Myrnin more and more with each book; I love his wacky-ness. With that said, Rachel didn't disappoint. Ghost Town was awsome! There is always a new obstacle the gang has to face that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Anyways, O.M.G. What is it with authors and cliffhangers? It drives me insane! LOL just kidden. But still, I was not expecting that ending, total shocker. Now I want the next installment of the series "Bite Club."
If you're a fan of the Morganville Vampires I suggest you go and get your hands on Ghost Town. And if you don't I'll tell Myrnin to come after you. Bahahahahaha!
And if you haven't read the Morganville Vampires series you really should. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Since Patch isn's answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. For some reason I always have a story behind buying a book. This time I was at Books-A-Million looking around and I was getting ready to leave when I saw Crescendo. I blinked twice to make sure I wasn't just imagining (since it was days before it was suppose to be released.) Since it wasn't a figment of my imagination, I picked up the book and went straight to the cashier. The cashier tried to convince me to go to a football game. Uhmm... HELL to the no! I had better things to do. Can anyone guess what that was? Anywho Crescendo was beyond amazing! I loved everything about it, especially all the drama. I also didn't know it was possible to love Patch more; He's just perfect. Thank you Becca for another great book. Bring on Tempest, I'm ready for the thunderstorm (:

P.S. I seriously want the Hush, Hush series to be made into movies.

Crescendo... OH MY PATCH! Another work of genius by Becca Fitzpatrick. She is definately my new favorite author. I adore all the twists and turns and suspense and drama and spy work! AHH. And Patch, oh sweet, dark and sexy Patch. *sigh* Crescendo was a brilliant piece of work. I felt every emotion. I cried, laughed (especially at Vee's funny comments), I got angry, sad, happy. EVERYTHING. So this is something everyone in the world, well every female, should read. And then we can all fight over who gets Patch(: Now lets talk about the ending. What a cliffhanger! I am the type of person who always reads the ending when I get a book but with this one I've heard that there was a major cliffhanger so I tried really hard not to sneak a peek. Good thing I didn't! I reccommend you don't either. I can go on praising and praising and praising this book but you probably have better things to do (like go and read it!)

Daemon Hall wasn't as scary as I expected. It was the first horror story I've read, so I guess I was expecting to be a little more frightened. It was creepy though, don't get me wrong. I really liked the fact that there were short stories within the book. I will say though that I did get scared/ freaked out while reading one of those stories. It was about spiders (ick!) and I'm aracne phobic. Plus it was in the middle of the night while I was reading so I was terrified of going to sleep because I didn't want to dream of those eight-legged-freaks! I didn't want to give it a two star rating because I did like the story and I would recommend it. I just expected to be a bit more scared. Oh and there is a sequel to this book and I do plan to read it soon!

Freefall Cover Remake

Freefall by Mindi Scott was released October 5th, 2010 and Valorie over at Truth Be Told is celebrating by hosting a Freefall Cover Remake Contest.

This is my first cover remake, so I'm a bit nervous. Especially since I haven't read the book. I've just read the synopsis, which is:

If I had the chance to go back and change one thing in my life, would I and what would it be?

My answer:
I don't want to lie and say no, because there is one thing in particular I would change. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any regrets. I love my princesses and I wouldn't trade them for the world. But if I hadn't forgiven that two-timing loser after the first time he two-timed me I'd be a whole different person. My plans would have gone accordingly. And I know I'm only saying this because I know that chance to go back doesn't exist. If it did I wouldn't change anything because my baby girls are my world. And at least these were God's plans for me and I'm happy where I am now(:

Doris's answer:
I wouldn't change anything because with each experience I learned something and it made me the person I am today.
